Few stars are as fondly remembered by porn fans who came of age in the late 80s and early 90s as Christy Canyon, who self published an autobiography last fall that avoids much of the sensationalist drama of most ex-porn queen stories (case in point): according to RU Sirius at Nerve, "Canyon struggles with the stigmas of her profession, gets a bit too wired on Reagan-era coke, and wrestles off a few sleazebags - but she emerges with an unqualified thumbs-up for her chosen profession." (And according to Christy herself, "Bellyachers suck." That's our kind of girl.)
