"I used to like silent protagonists, but it started getting annoying in Half Life 2: Episode One (though this could be easily solved by adding a "hug button" to make my character look less socially retarded) and made me literally yell at the screen in frustration in Episode Two. Not being able to make a character answer some burning questions made me feel like I was playing LOST: the video game. The fact that they kept teasing me with promises of answers made it only worse."
