Sounds interesting - but like all stuff like DRM, it's gonna get cracked and then spread all over the internet.

@AnimeGamer: I thought it's going to be a single big file... Which will probably be a bit harder to crack as you won't be able to simple replace it with another one.
That is, unless they start distributing whole cracked games.
Anyway, I like the idea. I still don't like the idea of having to activate the game online but this is probably the best idea involving online activation so far.
Actually I think I don't like it after all due to its online activation. It's always a bit unsure when you must rely on something else besides yourself.

@Zkuq: Umm... if you don't like online activation, then why would you even consider digital downloads, or buying games from Stardock?

@BeautifulAgony: GOG.com is fine. Actually I love the idea and have already bought one game (despite not having the time to play it). And Stardock... Well, I like their attitude although their actions aren't quite what I'd like (yet, at least).
Besides, online activation isn't limited to digital distribution - it's in many retail copies as well. It's rather unfortunate I think.
