The in-flight WiFi system (Connexion) that Lufthansa and Boeing have been touting as the next great thing, may not be all that it's cracked up to be. Lufthansa's claims 95% of those who have used the new service are pleased, but plugged-in travel blogger Christopher Elliott has serious doubts. One of Elliott's readers who has used Connexion described the experience:

It is universally a horrible experience and hardly worth the effort. Certainly, it is not a surfing environment. It was like connecting on a slow and temperamental 28K Baud system.
