The elite team of researchers over at Wired have crunched the numbers and determined something astounding: over the past fifty-six years of Playboy history, Playmates have been shrinking—even as their boobs remain busty as ever.

While the average American BMI has increased over the years, the average Playmate BMI has actually decreased—except in the bust area, which has remained in the voluptuous C/D cup range. Has Playboy been hard at work in their labs, scientifically crafting the perfect Playmate? Or are they just magically good at finding tiny girls with huge boobs?

And does this mean that Gianna Michaels will never get to be in Playboy?
