It's been a long time since we've been anywhere near a prom, but we're pretty sure that if you're hired to chaperone the dance your job is to keep horny teenagers out of trouble and not, say, escort four dudes to the prom queen's room and guard the door while they drink champagne and have a gangbang. (Also, just because you're the shop teacher that doesn't mean you have to carry a 2x4 with you at all times.) Of course, 18-year-olds (and those who play them in the movies) are a resourceful lot, so they may not need a chaperone to tell them to get busy. But you might as well "supervise" anyway.
