The worst thing about air travel has to be the layovers. Being stuck in a dreary airport in an unfamiliar city with nothing but a carry-on bag and an overpriced Cinnabon outlet to sustain you is no way to go through life. Plus, you never get an explanation for the inevitable and massive delays. Sometimes, any information would be more helpful than not at all—even something as simple as "We'll be delayed while the captain screws his entire flight crew back at the hotel." It may not make sleeping on the airport floor and picking at your stale Cinnabon any more pleasant, but at least you know your plane is grounded for a good reason.
