Why is the netherworld a fairly common motif for porn directors to explore? Is it because everyone else is constantly telling them that they're the reason this world is going there in a handbasket? What's interesting about this, besides the obvious, is that Dany Verissimo went on to have a conventional film career in France, including playing the female lead in "Banlieue 13" directed by Pierre Morel and produced by Luc Besson.
