Browsing through this portfolio by French photographer Catherine James gives us a warm, tender feeling as we look back and fondly recall the early days of Fleshbot when we proclaimed that meat-centric porn was going to be the Next Big Thing—which isn't surprising, since the photos date from 2004 and the height of the whole Atkins craze. Carbs might have returned to our diets since then, but that juxtaposition of live, warm flesh with cold, dead meat still manages to pique our curiosity every time. (Which just may have something to do with the fact that we're hungry. Anyone want to join us for a nice juicy steak lunch?)
