Kelly Wearstler's Top Design(s)

If even the gays are complaining about how dull Bravo's new "Top Design" is, imagine how its heterosexualist male audience must feel (assuming one exists). We're not sure whether knowing that judge and high profile LA interior designer Kelly Wearstler had a former career as a Playboy centerfold will make things more interesting for them, but it may help: she appeared as Kelly Gallagher as Playmate of the Month in the magazine's September 1994 issue, where she also proclaimed her ambition to "own my own marvelous design and furnishings business" someday. While we're glad that Kelly attained the goal she set out to achieve, we're also afriad that unless she strips down to her bra in the White Room at the end of an episode this season there's little her spectacular rack can do to make the show more exciting ... no matter which side of the doors of the Pacific Design Center you happen to be on.
