What is the appeal of the nude dancer? (Other than the obvious, you know ... nakedness.) We can't explain it ourselves, but it is a very real phenomenon that photographer Alex Krivstov seems to enjoy exploring in his work. He doesn't limit himself to just dancers, of course, and plenty of other lithe, athletic bodies can also be found parading in the galleries on his website. Maybe it's all explained in the Russian text descriptions, but us linguistically challenged folk will just have to keep guessing and wondering—and looking. If we just stare long enough, we know we'll figure out the answer eventually.
