There's not a lot of things to miss about the 1970s (polyester, inflation, gas shortages), but one thing we do miss is the vintage porn and the imaginative art work used to sell it. In this day and age, when all you need is a DVD burner and a laptop to distribute a movie, the sexy poster is all but extinct. Fortunately, the tradition is kept alive through fans and collectors, like the Chisholm Larsson Gallery, which boasts a huge library of original vintage movie posters, available for sale (or polite browsing) through their website. You'll have to save your money for some of these rare items, but looking through them is like a time warp through the soft and hardcore history of the 70s and early 80s. It makes us want to break out the old eight track and a leisure suit and do some Kung Fu ... or something. (OK, we're a little fuzzy on the details. The whole decade was kind of a blur.)
