I recently learned that Rice-A-Roni, the famous half rice/half pasta/half MSG side dish, really is originally from San Francisco, which is why it's called "The San Francisco Treat". So that's not just a catchy marketing slogan after all, which is what most snooty people from the Bay Area, myself included, have been led to believe. But I still have to take a stand: if I were looking for a real San Francisco treat, I'd forgo the carbs and head straight to Miss Ivy Red and her tasty site filled with work cooked up by the likes of Steve Diet Goedde, Dave Naz, Rob Ney, Midori, and other photographers who have appeared on our menu here at Fleshbot.
